「Handle」は、スチームパンクやアーマーリングからインスピレーションを受けて作った、ユニークな3連リングです。金属の強さを活かしつつも、指をスムーズに動かせる実用性を重視してデザインしました。

一番苦労したのは、各パーツを「カシメ」という技法でしっかり接合しながらも、動きやすさを損なわないようにすること。小さなパーツを細かく調整し、デザイン性と実用性のバランスを取るのに多くの試行錯誤を重ねました。その結果、見た目が美しいだけでなく、機能的にも満足のいくリングが完成しました。

この作品を通して、地金や鋳造技術の理解が深まり、特に素材の特性を活かしつつデザインを形にする難しさと面白さを学びました。パーツ一つひとつの強度と柔軟性を調整する中で、自分の技術が大きく成長したと実感しています。

「Handle」には、私が憧れてきたヒーロー像や、これまで積み重ねてきた時間と経験が詰まっています。このリングが、身につける人にとって支えや励ましになることを願いながら制作しました。この作品をきっかけに、さらに新しい挑戦を続けていきたいと思います。

"Handle" is a distinctive three-piece ring inspired by steampunk aesthetics and armor rings. It combines the strength of metal with a focus on smooth finger movement when worn, achieving both a bold design and practicality.

The biggest challenge was using a technique called "rivet fastening" to securely connect each part while maintaining flexibility. Adjusting the tiny components to balance strength and fluidity required meticulous attention, but it ultimately resulted in a piece that is not only visually striking but also highly functional.

Through this creation, I deepened my understanding of materials and casting techniques. It was a valuable learning experience to shape a design while respecting the properties of the metal. Finding the perfect balance between durability and flexibility allowed me to significantly improve my craftsmanship.

"Handle" represents my admiration for heroic figures and reflects the time and experience I’ve built over the years. I designed it with the hope that it would be a source of support and encouragement for the wearer. This project has motivated me to continue honing my skills and pursuing new challenges in the future.

이 작품을 통해 지금까지 사용해본 적 없던 소재와 주조 기술에 대한 이해를 더욱 깊이 배울 수 있었습니다. 금속의 특성을 고려하면서 디자인을 형태로 구체화하는 과정에서 기술이 크게 성장했음을 느꼈습니다.
